Rekening houdend met de nabijheid, evolutie en het traject van de
tropische storm Ida die het westen van Cuba bedreigt,zijn de noodnetwerken van radioamateurs
in de westelijke provincies geactiveerd .

De provincie Pinar del Río en de bijzondere gemeente Isla de
la Juventud hebbebn gisteravond hun netwerken geactiveerd en de provincies van
Artemisa, Havana en Mayabeque deden dat vrijdag vroeg in de ochtend.

Het National Emergency Network wordt geactiveerd om 08:00 EDT (12:00 .)
UTC) op de frequenties 7.110 MHz (prioriteit) en 7.120 MHz
(secundair), evenals op de repeaters en live-frequenties van de
provincies en gemeenten in de 2m band.
